NFIA AND BLUEGREEN ART EXHIBITION...










Introducing the NFIA, a community based non-profit organization of
associated artists. The NFIA will provide a platform in which artists
come together freely to exchange ideas on technique,
subject matter, and sales initiatives.The NFIA will also raise
money for local causes by organizing art shows,creating murals
and public beautification projects, as well as donating works
for charity auction.

The NFIA invite you to celebrate its arrival in Long Beach.
The National Foundation of Independent Artists is local Non-profit
organization created to establish and maintain a network of resources
for artists by artists.

These resources include, a working gallery as a base of operation, an
already established link to city and private art functions, such as
participation in private " invite only" shows, as well as city sponsored
events. We also regulary meet to discuss issues pertaining to the
artist role in society.
We also share technique and sales initiatives.
"Independent Earth A second look" is a joint venture between the
NFIAand the BlueGreen exhibit combining to display the efforts
over 50 different locally and internationally known artists.

The BlueGreen exhibit aims to bring the realities of environmental
issues to light through visual communications.
BlueGreen will also reach out to collaborate with environmental
organizations and to bring as much media attention possible to the
show and its mission..........................................


As always NFIA will be accepting donations and/or pledges in order to
continue bringing you the most culturally aware and prolific art
available..

NFIA









NFIA in association with C1D Gallery in Long Beach California are proud to present an innovative way to responsibly convey an artistic shift to prioritize organization. The NFIA is a forum where advanced level professional artists can verbally and artistically express their work through discussion. Our participants will have the opportunity to exchange ideas and collaborate with other artists by exposing unique techniques, that will improve their process of creative development and self application, to enhance their work. NFIA interacts with local and surrounding communities to enforce the positive impact of art, by participating in local events, art exhibitions, mural projects, and educational courses. NFIA and C1D are committed to undeniably support our artists and -most importantly- offer an unforgettable experience of interaction and artistic bliss.

The NFIA is a collective organization founded in order to bring about a renewal of the progressive integrity of art, both culturally and politically. A movement towards collaborative examination among artists, in order to more fully understand the nature of their role in society, and contribute more decisively toward a betterment of humanity. The NFIA believes that the artist has a unique responsibility to bare upon society the content in which to build new solutions to existing problems and contradiction in our community.

BIOGRAFIA FUNDADOR

Enrique Chiu, nacido en la ciudad de Guadalajara, Mexico. Estudio en la Escuela elemental de Artes Graficas de Guadalajara. Ingreso a Diseno y Artes Audiovisuales y Derecho en Guadalajara y poco despues viajo a Los Angeles California donde continuo sus estudios de Diseno Grafico, Arte y Pintura, Fotografia, Electricidad, Soldadura, Mercadeo y Negocios en escuelas de Long Beach y Santa Ana , California.Es considerado como uno de los artistas jovenes y reconocidos en el area local de los angeles, y uno de los iniciadores en promover el desarrollo artistico de varias comunidades en el sur de California, asi como de algunos artistas de otros paises como Estados Unidos, Argentina, Mexico, El Salvador, Peru, Espana y del Medio Oriente, en galerias en el sur de California. Aceptandose por la gente como una figura de las artes en el medio Latino. Director de arte de C1D Gallery en el Distrito de Arte de Long Beach, California desde el ano 2003 en el que ha mostrado diferentes medios de arte, dirigiendo y curando muestras para otros artistas. Asi como Fundador de NFIA (Fundacion Nacional de Artistas Independientes) desde el 2006 en la que colaboran mas de 20 artistas locales, y de otros paises, para la realizacion de exhibiciones de arte y eventos de caridad y Beneficiarios.Tambien con el patrocinio de Importantes personas e Instituciones de Gobierno. Ha expuesto en muestras colectivas, compartidas e individuales, recibiendo una mencion por sus obras en revistas y medios informativos reconocidos.Y al mismo tiempo a realizado cursos y seminarios dentro de la Fundacion en la que actualmente colabora.

PERSONAL

Mi nombre es Enrique Chiu, desde muy chico me intereso el arte. Especialmente por el dibujo y la pintura.Durante algunos años no experimenté el placer de ejercerlo cuando estuve en la escuela preparatoria, hasta hace 10 años, sentado frente a un papel empecé a dibujar, desde ese entonces, no pude dejar de hacerlo con todo el placer que ello me representa.Tengo una total comunicación con mis obras, desde el comienzo, desde el contacto directo con la manta hasta el momento de firmar el trabajo, existe una union entre mi y la obra muy estrecha, cuando comienzo aveces no se lo que voy a realizar me dejo llevar por la inspiración y las emociones.Muchas veces me embarga una emoción muy grande cuando veo el trabajo terminado, y eso me hace demasiado feliz. En cada una de mis obras espero traslucir el sentimiento que pongo al pintarlas la interpretación de ellas me comunica con el receptor de una forma muy especial ya que deja ver mi Alma de pintor dejando traslucir mi sentir y mi amor por el Arte y la Musica.

Propuesta de Exhibicion, y talleres de arte.

La Fundacion Nacional de Artistas Independientes tiene como proposito el incorporarse con instituciones y organizaciones de Arte, con el hecho de llevar acabo exhibiciones de arte de cualquier medio y eventos beneficiarios para ayudar a los mismos artistas y otras comunidades de caridad, recaudando fondos. Asi como hacer subastas, murales y talleres de arte para los ninos.El NFIA (Fundacion Nacional de Artistas Independientes) es una organization colectiva de artistas asociados. Fundado con el proposito de renovar la integridad progresiva del arte, siendo cultural y politica.NFIA es una organization no-lucrativa creada para mantener la comunicacion, y los procesos de artistas por artistas.NFIA expresa a la comunidad la importancia de la re-evaluacion cuando viene de las ideas de y sobre futuras generaciones entre la combinacion de actos de Caridad y otros eventos artisticos, NFIA ayudara a restaurar el idealismo, y ayudar a la causa.En NFIA examinamos a los artistas y los ayudamos para la realizacion de algun evento, asi como platicas de tecnicas, procesos, y proyectos de venta con el proposito de que se envuelvan con la sociedad de ahora.NFIA cree que en los artistas como unica responsabilidad es integrarse a la sociedad y construir nuevas soluciones de los problemas y contradicciones existentes de nuestra comunidad.

NFIA Exhibicion de Arte “Arte sin Fronteras“ Art without borders“ Luces Viajeras”Viajando atravez de la velocidad de la luz NFIA, continua para brindar colecciones de arte fino al publico en general. Nuestro Fundador Enrique Chiu nos muestra en esta exhibicion ambulante, sus obras creadas y mas recientes. La exhibicion Ambulante es una perspectiva ambiciosa de paisajes historicos y culturales. Esta exhibicion de varios medios de pintura y algunos mezclados con neon reflejan el poder de la luz a iluminar grades distancias. Chiu nos vuleve a mostrar su manera expresiva de pintar y convertir la forma de la luz para mantener la imaginacion de futuras generaciones.

A PERSONAL TOUCH by Claudia Lugo

If ever there was a marriage of labor and love, Enrique Chiu has found the formula. Both practical and passionate, Chiu’s life-long experience with the commercial arts spills over to his creative endeavors so smoothly that neither usurps his loyalty more than the other. With graphic design as his introduction to the arts, his approach to the canvas is informed by pure colors, broad lines, and stylized figures. Chiu’s style is easily identifiable. Some signature recurrences are the use of a guitar, and of musical notes that can usually be found either in the foreground or cleverly implied in the background. All other figures usually revolve around this central theme, and carry the very vibration of music and a festive atmosphere. On a lifted plane, people dance, musicians play their instruments, women move suggestively, and sound becomes tangible. Suddenly, the concrete and the emotive share a space. A hand reaches out and can touch the waves of music. Two worlds collide in a pandemonium of color and movement. The lines with which Chiu encases his subjects are emotively drawn. Brushstrokes move quickly, gestures are documented, and colors overlap instead of bleeding into each other. Arms are curved, defying anatomic accuracy, fingers open like fans, and faces are simplified to their most economic expression. There is an abundance of movement in Chiu’s work, and the waves seem to want to fall right off the canvas. Though he has matured a particular signature, there is a progression waiting to come from it and on to other ventures. One can see that it is fermenting, that certain strokes have begun to hint at a different sensuality. The anticipation of work to come might delve into other techniques, but Chiu states, adamantly, that his work will always have the same flavor. This is what he is familiar with, this is what “feels right” and it is not produced with a commercial intent, but simply as a mode of expression. That his work has sold well is happenstance, and he is always the first to be surprised at the interest in what came of a moment of inspiration.
